How to make chicken Biryani

1. This recipe needs half kg chicken. Make few slits on all the chicken pieces and add to a large bolw. Then add
*3 tablespoons plain yogurt
*1 tablespoon garam masala
*1 tablespoons ginger
*1 teaspoon salt
*1teaspoon ground turmeric
*1teaspoon chili powder
*1teaspoon lemon juice
then mix every thing well. Add 2cups basmati rice .Then oil in a heavy bottom pot.I use bay leaf, green cardamoms, cloves, jeera,onions. This is the correct colour of the onions and add marinated chicken cook for 5 minutes. Lower the flame completely cook chicken. Then mix rice cook for 2minutes and add water depends on the quality of basmati rice.Restfor 15 minutes. Finaly ready chicken biryani. Enjoy with raita or shorba.Towards the end if the rice is under cooked you can sprinkle little hot water and cook covered further.Make the ultimate biryani in homestyle and restaurant styles.
